Cloud of your choice, with Nova

Seedance Pro

ByteDance Seed's video model: a whole storyboard sheet as input, a film as output, picture and sound generated together. What it does, and how it arrives in the Axiris interface.

Seedance is ByteDance Seed's family of video models. Its publisher describes it as a joint picture-and-sound generation model, able to produce up to 30 seconds in a single generation, to extend a film, to understand a reference video and to respond to editing requests. For Axiris, it is the model that takes a whole storyboard sheet, characters and shots, and renders the film. It arrives in the Axiris interface, with Nova to prepare the sheet and the brief; the model is called by Axiris, the film lands in your gallery.

ByteDance Seed's video model

Seedance is the family of video models from ByteDance Seed, ByteDance's research team. Its publisher presents it as a joint picture-and-sound generation model: the film and its soundtrack come out together. According to the official page, the current version creates videos of up to 30 seconds in a single generation, with the possibility of extending twice for a longer story; it understands a reference video more finely, its intent, its framing, its camera language; and it responds to a wider range of editing requests, visual and sound.

From its first versions, Seedance generated multi-shot narratives from a text or an image, keeping the main subject and the visual style from one shot to the next. That is what sets it apart for us.

What changes with a whole sheet

Some video models read only one shot at a time: you have to cut up the story, feed each shot, then edit. That is the Axiris method with its studio video engine, and it keeps all its meaning for shot-by-shot control: Video, shot by shot and Timeline Director.

Seedance opens another way: you give it the whole sheet, the character sheet and the sequence of shots, and it renders the film. For a rough cut, a proposal to get approved, a quick variation of a storyboard, the time saved is considerable.

The planned path in Axiris

The scenario we are preparing comes in three steps:

1. You build the sheet in the studio. The character sheet, the shots, the layout: what is validated no longer moves. Character Sheet Director and Box Director. 2. Nova helps you write the brief. She knows what Seedance expects as input and what it will not read; she tells you what is missing from the sheet before sending. 3. Seedance renders the film. Axiris calls the model, the film lands in your gallery, ready to be picked up again, extended or edited. Gallery

You need no account with the publisher, no key, no request format to know. You say what you want to produce, Axiris takes care of the path.

What you need to know

Seedance is a remote model: the sheet, the references and the brief go to its publisher, under its terms. You are the one who decides, project by project, whether a job can leave the studio: Your data does not leave, unless you decide it does. For a project that must send nothing to a third party, the studio keeps its video engine, under the terms of its licence: MiniMax H3.

The cost of a video generation on a cloud model is carried by the generation itself, in Axiris credits. Credits

Where access stands

Access to Seedance from the Axiris interface is in preparation. This page describes what the model does, according to its publisher's documentation, and what Axiris will do with it. The opening will be announced in the news, on its date. You can already talk to us about it.
