We no longer generate an image. We build it.

Nova can now rework one element of an image without touching the rest. The co-direction announced in June is here.

Generating an image is a roll of the dice. Something is wrong, the title, the character, a colour, and everything has to be relaunched. You lose what worked to correct what was off. Every attempt is a new draw.

That is not how we work.

An art director does not start a poster over because one element is off. They correct the element.

What changes

You point to a box in the image. You say, in plain words, what you want. Nova reworks it.

The rest does not move by a single pixel. The background stays the background, the subject stays the subject, the composition holds. Only what you pointed to changes.

And it builds up: you rework another box, then another. The image is built in layers, under your direction, instead of appearing all at once and leaving you with what chance has given.

You speak, Nova writes, you validate

You say “furious dragon breathing flames”. Nova does not translate: she writes. She thinks about the light, the material, the integration into the scene, the presence. It is her trade, and she does it the way an art director would.

Then she hands back to you. Apply, or write it yourself. Nothing happens behind your back.

What is good, we freeze

An element suits you? You freeze it. It becomes an exact layer: it will never move again, whatever you do next on the rest of the image.

That is the difference between a tool that produces images and a tool you work with.

A work in progress, and we own it

It is new, and it is being refined with the first users. The beta remains by invitation, opened up gradually.
